Is the future as unpredictable as the motivational quotes on Instagram would have us believe? Or have we not designed ourselves into a system that no longer leaves much room for speculation? Felix Kosok reflects on design's involvement with a bad infinity of mono-technology and design's "de-futuring" effects. On the search for a way out, queer failure is considered as a different as well as aesthetic approach to the designing the future, that challenges straight time.
